READERS may be forgiven, for inferring from reports on the Peel Hall site, that either the Council or myself have reached conclusions in response to the Inspector's Report into the Local Plan. No conclusions have yet been reached.
This is an extremely complex matter involving the balancing of conflicting arguments and views, sincerely held and expressed. Members of the Strategic Planning and Transport Committee have now visited all the sites at issue to examine the situation on the ground. The representations we have recieved will be taken into account in our deliberations.
When the Council do reach a decision on a response to the Inspector's Report, it will be placed on deposit, when all interested parties will have the opportunity to formally respond to the proposals.
COUNCILLOR M. HUGHES, Chair, Strategic Planning and Transportation Committee
