IF you're on the lookout for babes this summer, Winsford Shopping Centre is the place to be!
On Saturday, August 7, the Miss Winsford 1999 competition will be held and 20 ladies aged 18 to 28 are needed to take part.
The winner of the prestigious competition will have the privilege of representing the town on special occasions, such as turning on the Christmas lights.
The winner of Miss Winsford 1999 will receive £500 and be accepted for the Miss Millennium finals which will be held on October 15 at Blotts Country Club, Nottingham.
The winner of this will then qualify for one of the hottest beauty contests in the world - the Miss Hawaiian Tropic finals in April 2000.
The Winsford competition, the first since 1997, will be preceded by a fashion show featuring clothes from the centre's shops, from 10am to 1pm.
The beauty contest begins at 1.30pm and all entertainment is free.
Entry forms can be collected from the town centre manager's office on the second floor of Commerce House, Dene Drive.
