FLOWER power pulled in the visitors to St Mary's Church last weekend.
Between nine and ten thousand people enjoyed the Flower Festival that is being hailed as the 'best yet'.
There were queues to view the twenty wonderful designs linked by a Millennium theme.
The town's Flower Club members teamed up with St Mary's own team of arrangers to present 'The Church in Step Towards 2000', depicting the progression of Christianity over the centuries.
Flower Club members Margaret Doano and Hilda Andrews spearheaded the festival arrangements.
