WIDNES band Bronson are bidding for stardom in a nationwide contest to discover the next Oasis.
Bronson was formed in late 1997 by four friends - Matt Spiers, Neil Egan, Lee Baines and Tom Scargill - with a common interest in music.
They play their own brand of urban rock and roll and catchy anthems with thought provoking lyrics.
Scores of wannabe pop and rock stars from across Britain are bidding to hit the big-time in the Yates's Wine Lodges contest to discover the best new bands in the country.
They will play-off at Yates's Wine Lodge in Swinton on Tuesday, July 13, when all the bands will be performing their own original material.
Throughout the summer, hundreds of other unsung hopefuls will be battling for stardom at Yates's across the country.
And the grand final gig at Wembley, will give the best bands the chance to target top-name record companies and walk away with £5,000 of new gear.
