I RECENTLY drove through the centre of Davenham and was amazed to see how many sleeping policemen have been placed along the road. They stretched through the entire village!
I would like to know why Davenham has been allocated such preferential treatment?
I often collect my granddaughter from the school on the Pippins and really think the main road through the estate is a potential hazard, especially as it passes so close to the school.
Why can't those sleeping policemen speed deterrents be placed along that stretch of road?
Double yellow lines would prevent parents parking their cars in the vicinity and make them use the facilities provided including the old tennis courts.
