Castle A booked their place with a five point win against Barnton while Castle C beat Helsby by 10 points to set up an interesting clash.

Frodsham Red Lion will have to concede 54 points in a tricky draw against Hartford A. Hartford came through the third round after beating their B team 301-290.

Farmers A will face Slow and Easy A and Comberbach A meet Crosstown A in the other fourth round ties.

Coronation Cup favourites Wharton Cons A will have to overcome a 61 point handicap against Coppenhall A to progress to the semifinal stages.

They'll face each other at the Ring O'Bells on July 22. In the other quarter final games, Owley Wood A play Castle Private D, Lostock A face Owls A and Meadowbank take on Hartford B.

STUART Morrey qualified in the Wharton Cons Open on Sunday after two tough ties.

Morrey beat Warrington's Harry Horne in Round One by 31-23 before a close second round clash against Stockport's Graham Law.

He eventually won the match 31-29 to progress to the next stage.

Northwich's Nigel Faulkner will be in action in the next qualifying round this Sunday at Wharton Cons from 7pm.
