HOW marvellous that the common good has been so well served by council and shopowners to transform the shopping corner on Central Avenue, Orford, beyond all recognition.
Graffiti painted over, rubbish bins provided, the scrap and scrub on the green area cleared and now Rita, Chris and Jimmy have all clubbed together to get the tarmac on the fronts. And all since February!
I feel like blessing the ground and all who made it fair - but I'm going to settle for our celebration drink there on some summer chairs. Local living - lovely!
