WINSFORD United follow up last night's friendly against Macclesfield with a double header this weekend,

Good attendances are hoped for for both matches at Barton Stadium, Hull City visiting on Friday (7.15pm) and UniBond League champions Altrincham on Saturday (3pm).

Both teams are expected to play their strongest sides and fans can also view some of the new faces which could be .

Admission is £2 for adults, free for children.

The fixtures will give manager Mark Came the chance to assess the players who have expressed an interest in joining the club.

They include Chorley midfielder Darren Quick, full backs David Lloyd, released by Chester and Nick Callerton, who has moved into the area from London. All have both impressed the manager in training.

The Blues round off the week with a friendly at Middlewich Town on Tuesday (6.45pm).

Further friendlies follow, at Salford City on July 29 (7.30pm), at home against Ashton United on August 3 (7.30pm) and away to Vauxhalls on August 5 (7.30pm).

The UniBond Premier campaign begins at home to Frickley Athletic on Saturday, August 14.
