I MUST agree with Mr Pimblatt's letter re: Castle Street development. It is getting rather tiring constantly hearing of yet another development of houses going ahead. The council must be clapping their hands in glee, at all those rates!
This is a prime site for Northwich and the council have wasted another opportunity to improve our town.
Further examples of where there appears to be no investment is Moss Farm. There are no cafeteria/bar facilities operational during the day. No creche facilities for young children, a swimming pool with opening times which are totally inadequate, and an antiquated sports hall.
Everyone recognises that Northwich town has enormous potential, I cannot believe that our council is so blind to the potential of prime locations like Castle Street.MRS J ROBERTS
