TWO small rubbish fires sparked off an alarm at Murdishaw county primary school.
Firefighters were at the scene in minutes and prevented them spreading.
They are urging local residents to be extra vigilant during the summer holidays.
"Rubbish fires can become more serious," said a spokesman for Runcorn fire brigade.
