CONTINENTAL supermarket chain Lidl is hoping to open a new distribution centre in Runcorn, creating much needed new jobs.
The company already has other centres throughout the country and now plans to set up a new base on the Manor Park industrial estate.
It is hoped the centre will be ready to open in April or May of next year.
It is not yet known exactly how many jobs will be created but the firm will be looking for staff for the warehouse, offices and clerical departments.
