A NEW international discount card, aimed at the leisure industry, has been launched by Warrington businessman Stan Baker of Stockton Heath and his partner, Philip Ashley, of Crewe.
The two have spent four years setting up the new company, Guides International, which has offices in Crewe, Florida and Queensland.
The Guides International Discount Gold Card sells for £15. It comes with a colour directory listing the thousands of outlets which accept the card and offer a discount to cardholders. Attractions taking part in this area include Tatton Park, Chester Zoo, Cholmondeley Castle and Cheshire Oakes designer outlet village.
Also included are restaurants, hotels, car hire and hundreds of leisure activities, as well as outlets in America and Australia.
Stan and Philip hope that their card will become a household name in this country and abroad.
