FOOTBALL legend George Best is to appear as guest speaker at a sportsman's dinner at Ray Fisher's Bank Quay Sports and Social Club.
The event, on August 10, has been organised in place of a suspended function with world boxing champion Prince Naseem Hamed, which has been put on hold until later in the year. Last year Marvelous Marvyn Hagler appeared at Bank Quay.
Tickets for the Best night, which will include a meal, comedian and compere, cost £35 and are available from the club. For more information contact 495483.
