THE glorious sunshine brought out thousands of people to line the streets of Winsford for the carnival parade on Saturday.
As visitors basked in the hot weather, Laura Sanderson was crowned Winsford Carnival Queen.
Meanwhile, thrill-seekers enjoyed a feast of entertainment on offer - such as a fair, bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modelling, Mini Club 40 year celebration, Bantam grass track racing, court of queens competition and beat the goalie.
But for the first year ever, the fun didn't end there. It continued on Sunday with a Vintage Rally and car boot sale.
Carnival spokeswoman Jenny Sanderson declared the event one of the best yet.
She said: "The weather was beautiful and the carnival was just wonderful.
"We had an amazing turn out. Thousands of people lined the streets to watch the floats pass by.
"It was our first two-day event and we were very pleased with the support."
