POLICE are disappointed by the response to their latest appeal for information about the murder of Julia Webb.
Officers have only taken half a dozen calls in the last week, despite publicity marking the first anniversary of the housewife's death.
One caller said they saw an argument near the murder scene, possibly on the day the mum-of-two was beaten to death.
Detective Chief Inspector Peter Rigby, who is leading Cheshire's biggest murder hunt, said his officers were investigating every scrap of information.
"I would like to thank the public for their calls," he said.
"This just proves that there are still people out there with relevant information." If you can help, ring the incident room on 01244 613298.
