TWO young men received serious head injuries in separate attacks at the weekend and detectives are now appealing for witnesses.
The first incident happened outside the Derby in the town centre at 11.10pm on Friday, July 23.
A man in his 20s was attacked during a fracas outside the pub. He was treated in hospital for head injuries.
Police are anxious to speak to anyone who saw him being attacked or witnessed his car windows being smashed and the side panels kicked in.
The second incident occurred at 12.30am on Saturday, July 24 in the Bankfield Road area.
Another young man, also in his 20s, received head injuries in an attack.He was treated in hospital.
