THE battle for the Division One honours in the Inn Partnership Summer Dominoes League continued unabatedly with Warrington Town taking up the pace by beating Bulls Head after a storming first half performance.

Dave Livett and Eddy Quigley did the business for Cons A as they toppled Hawthorne by taking the drop advantage off Chamberlain and Hassall in the crucial third leg.

London Bridge waved the white to nought when Hilton and McKenna took the last leg for Jasmine.

In Division Two Monk Sports were whitewashed at home by Marquis and Bank Quay nearly matched the feat at home to Royal Oak Branch as Cullen and Heywood dropped the first legs.

Rose Inn continued their remarkable season by taking a hard fought encounter against King and Queen, while Sloop continued their revival with a good win over Pierpints, as did Rylands at home to WTC Bells.

Railway Latchford were only let down by Holt and Daly in their quest for perfection at Red Lion and are now looking a good thing for the Division Three title, but Penny Ferry won well at Black Horse to prove they will not lie down.

Black Bear were slaughtered by Kings Head and in Division Four Manx Arms won their 'derby' match against Brickmakers.

Hop Pole may have destroyed the Albion chances of prize money when they took the first three pairings and toppled some highly vaunted reputations. Howley continued their rise from the depths with a good win at WTC Women.
