YOUNG Warrington Warriors swimmers are set for glory on the national stage as they take on Britain's best next week.

More than 20 local competitors have achieved the qualifying times in their events to take part in the National Age Group Championships in Coventry which run from August 2-7.

Individual qualifiers and events:

Sarah James, 13, 400m individual medley; Jamie Kerin, 12, 100m breaststroke; Helen Crookes, 13, 200m breaststroke; David Holt, 14, 100m and 200m backstroke; Rachel Greig, 14, 100m backstroke; Charlotte Brennan, 14, 100m and 200m freestyle, 100m butterfly and 200m individual medley; Sam Doward, 14, 100m and 200m breaststroke and 400m individual medley; Jenny Lowe, 16, 200m butterfly; Penny Blake, 15, 50m freestyle; Holly Eggboro, 16, 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle; Richard Reed, 15, 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 200m and 400m individual medley; Laura Myles, 16, 100m and 200m breaststroke; Lucy Waller, 16, 100m and 200m breaststroke.

Team qualifiers and events: 13/14 years 4 x 50m freestyle, girls: Rachel Greig, Charlotte Brennan, Corinne Hodge, Nicola Pemberton.

Boys: David Holt, Sam Doward, David Eggoboro, Chris Bradley.

11/12 year girls 4 x 50m freestyle: Kristina McGuirk, Rachel Hillain, Laura Wilford, Emma Ratcliffe.

15/16 year 4 x 50m freestyle and individual medley: Jenny Lowe, Penny Blake, Holly Eggboro, Joanna McGuirk.
