RESIDENTS of Winwick Road and the Burtonwood Road area of Great Sankey, suffered water shortages and low water pressure this week after a mains fractured.
The break in the large 16-inch main, in Winwick Road, resulted in low water pressure for residents, as well as affecting customers in the Burtonwood Road area.
A spokeswoman for North West Water said the mains had been re-routed and would be restored to its normal capacity by today, Friday.
