WARRINGTON based English Partnerships has awarded a £1m contract to Taylor Woodrow Construction, Liverpool, for the maintenance of 80 sites in Liverpool and Wirral.

The three year contract will involve maintenance of 160 acres of English Partnership's land.

It includes street and office cleansing, landscaping, water quality, pest control, street lighting, minor property repairs and electrical and mechanical work.

Elaine Renshaw of English Partnerships said her organisation was pleased to maintain its relationship with Taylor Woodrow.

The recently formed English Partnerships was created by combining the roles of the Commission for the New Towns and the national functions of the former English Partnerships.

The regions of the former English Partnerships, with the exception of London, were transferred to the Regional Development Associations on April 1.
