WARRINGTON Wolves talked tactics with the man overseeing the new Wembley stadium project this week.
The Wolves' chief executive Peter Deakin and head coach Darryl Van de Velde met up with former Burnley soccer star Paul Fletcher in London on Wednesday to pick his brain ahead of Warrington's new £15m stadium project with Alfred McAlpine.
Fletcher used to be the chief executive of the Alfred McAlpine Stadium in Huddersfield and he transferred to Bolton where he cast his experience into the building of the Reebok Stadium.
Deakin said: "We went to have a chat with Paul in regards to new stadiums, development and design.
"It was another information gathering mission with the guy who is organising the new Wembley."
The Wolves and McAlpine plan to have Warrington's new stadium in place in time for the 2002 season.
