A COUPLE'S chaotic culinary capers have landed them on TV once again.

Arthur Grainger, aged 74, is the ultimate useless husband when it comes to helping out in the kitchen.

In his last TV appearance on Can't Cook Won't Cook Arthur caused mayhem with his knack for reducing potentially delicious dishes to blackened remains!

But when Arthur and his wife Margaret, of Dalton Bank, Warrington, appeared on the new BBC2 show, Men In The Kitchen, Arthur finally came up with a recipe for success.

Said Arthur: "I made a real mess of it last time, but this time I did a lot better. I made a flan with strawberry cream and blackcurrants and Margaret said it was lovely. But she still won't let me in the kitchen at home - she's put a 'Keep Out' sign on the door!"

But the couple's on-screen antics do not stop there. They are now lining up an appearance on Blankety Blank with Lily Savage, and Margaret is auditioning to compete in Stars In Their Eyes as Karen Carpenter!

The Graingers' antics on Men In The Kitchen will be screened in the first week of September.
