AS a result of the launch of Tatton Constituency Association of the United Kingdom Independence Party, I am pleased to report we have three people willing to stand for Parliament to represent the electorate here in Northwich, Knutsford and Wilmslow.

But before our 40-strong association decides on a candidate we hope to attract more members and supporters to broaden its representative character. As its only officer, I am planning a newsletter.

Our intention is to find an independent-minded candidate of the highest possible calibre capable of serving the best interests of us as a nation as well as those of all in the constituency. He or she must be dedicated to keeping the pound and getting us out of the nightmare that the EU is becoming.

The EU is to become a European superstate which will swallow up 30 nations to make a United State of Europe stronger even than America, economically, politically and militarily.

We heard about a map of that octopus they call the EU, Scotland is on it as a euro region so is Wales.

But the name of England has vanished. England is to become just 12 euro 'regions'.

Membership of UKIP has doubled in a year to 8,000.

We are determined to end the mainstream parties' 30-year conspiracy of silence and put the issue of Europe firmly on the agenda before the British people by fielding a candidate in every constituency at the General Election.

UKIP is a democratic party with a soul. We all are convinced Britain will have a more dynamic and prosperous and safer future as a free, self-governing, independent nation as we have been for centuries.

We are also committed to trading freely with all nations of the world, not just being controlled by unelected and corrupt Eurocrats whom we the electorate cannot throw out of office through the ballot box if we choose.

DON BRIGGS
