I AM writing to say thank you to Mr Barber and his assistants for organising the Brass Factory weekend held at Woodford Lodge High School, in Winsford.

My daughter took part and I would like to say well done to all those who participated, also to the children who travelled from as far as Oldham to join in.

The grand finale on Sunday afternoon was brilliant. All the tutors and pupils took part in the event and the children learnt so much in such a short space of time.

Here's to the next Brass Factory weekend, it was well worth it.
