BRAVE volunteers - who aren't afraid of things that go bump in the night - are needed to help stage a Hallowe'en show at Delamere Forest Park.
The annual event began a few years ago with one 30 minute night walk through the forest.
The idea took off like a bat out of hell and soon so many people were clamouring for tickets that the spook night became a three-day bonanza of fun, frolics and fear.
People over the age of 18 are needed to help create the effects which last year included the 'moving forest' and 'hell's gate'.
Ranger Nic Sheerin said: "It's the most fantastic fun, but we're groaning under the strain. Last year we recruited everyone at the park to help out."
This year's events will be staged on October 28, 29 and 30 with ghostly tours leaving the visitor centre, Linmere, every 20 minutes beginning at 6.20pm.
People wanting to volunteer should ring 01606 882167.
For those who simply want to attend tickets, costing £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for children, are available on 01606 889792. Due to demand, booking is essential.
