PLAYING against the wind Widnes were well on top and clocked up four first-half tries through Spencer (2), Moss and Glover.
The game deteriorated after the break and only Bradford managed to add to the score after a rare constructed move.

WIDNES Bulls were unlucky to finish runners-up in an entertaining contest.
Tarleton opened the scoring but Halpin quickly drew Widnes level.
Tarleton then rallied to take a 20-5 half-time lead.
The second-half was very evenly matched with Nelson, Anderson and Rimmer scoring for Widnes, whilst Mom Orme collected two to bring Widnes within one score.
Roberts went close but Tarleton snatched a late try to clinch victory.

HALPIN celebrated his birthday in style as he collected a hat-trick at Leigh.
Halpin and Lamey linked up to release Burgess who evaded the Leigh defence to score a fine try.
Griffiths was unlucky to be tackled short in at the corner, but Widnes immediately span the ball to the opposite wing where Rimmer scored to cap an impressive team performance.
