Hough Green move into fourth in the First Division after a 3-2 win over Union Tavern, Smith, Savage and momDavies all finding the net for the home side. Todd Dynamoes scored the odd one in three as they defeated Clarendon 2-1. In a stop, start game Waterloo netted four with a brace from Wallace and one each for McMahon and Grayson but strikes from Dunning, Garry, Griffiths and Turner levelled everything up as Simms Cross grabbed a 4-4 draw.
It was unlucky 13 for Clarendon Reserves in the Second Divisionthey were defeated 2-13 by Toplock Villa. Roosters came out 8-2 winners over Golden Wonder Res with a hat-trick from Nolan, Taylor (two) and one apiece for Vaughan, Brimlow and Gilbert. A goal from Tomlinson for Weston Point Seniors and one from Fleming for the Railway saw the game end all square at 1-1.
It was top against second in the Third Divisionas leaders Lord Raglan played Masonic and it was they who remain top after a 1-0 home win thanks to a goal from mom Morris. Pablo stay in third place after a 5-6 away win over The Wilsons. Holland, Hooper, Dundon and two from Daly could not secure the points for the home side. YKK had a hat-trick from Hennon and one each for Kirwin, Mills and Campbell as they defeated Linnets Social Club 0-6. Ball had no luck as they were defeated 1-10 at home by Halewood Labour Res. Boars Head entertained FC Royal and Brake netted four and Edwards one as the visitors recorded a 0-5 away win. Kingsthorn defeated Wolves 17-0 with David Rimmer netting 10, a hat-trick from Budey and one each for Lewsey, Fennel, Lloyd and Hallet.
FC Bass go into the next round of the Harry Tabb Memorial Trophy they defeated Union Street 2-4 after extra-time. Highton and Draper were on target for the home side but strikes from Flaughtey (2), Fox a penalty, and Jones won the game for the visitors.
