Shell 4 Mond Rangers 4
MOND took the lead inside 40 seconds with a goal by Simon Burton but a lapse in concentration and a long ball by Shell made it 1-1.
Mond were still carving open the Shell defence at will and Ian Walsh taking advantage of a good run by Burton to make it 2-1. Shell levelled with a penalty and again Walsh headed home from a Flaherty corner for a deserved brace.
The second-half saw a much tighter Shell defence but Mond still had many chances.
Shell scored to level the game at 3-3 from a corner with the Mond defence all over the place. Mond's fourth goal came courtesy of a penalty with Walsh upended with only the keeper to beat. Goalkeeper Maddocks stepped up to make it 4-3. With two minutes to go Shell levelled for the fourth time with the goal area packed a shot squirmed through with Maddocks unsighted.
Mond Reserves 2 Mallaby 2 (aet)
After a goalless first-half in this West Cheshire Shield game Mallaby took the lead in the 70th minute when Croft was brought down by Waring, Kelly scoring from the spot-kick. When Daly was brought down, Kudrycz did likewise from Mond's resultant penalty-kick.
The first-half of extra-time was a stalemate but the second-half saw some impressive runs from young full-back Dumbill. It was from one of his attacks that Hammond received the ball in space and threaded a ball through the visitor's defence for Waring to fire home. In the final minute a cross by Kelly was headed into the far corner by Croft for what was a deserved equaliser. Mom for Mond John Kehoe.
Mond Ladies 1 Bolton Ladies 5
THE visitors got off to a flyer by opening the scoring in the fifth minute.
Mond struck back within five minutes when captain Helen Cann's cross-ball found Lauren McCormack inside the box who flicked the ball past the advancing keeper.
The Mond captain had an excellent chance to put her side ahead but her shot slid past the post as well as the goalkeeper and the match took a dramatic turn for the worse for the home side as Bolton surged ahead with three goals in 10 minutes.
Although the home side rallied in the second-half with a change of formation the damage was already done and compounded close to the end with a fifth goal to Bolton.
Mond Rangers Bonanza was won by No213.
