MORRISONS, the supermarket chain which has a branch in Warrington, has won the l999 Multiple Retailer of the Year award. The company's chairman, Ken Morris, also won a Lifetime Achievement Award.
KAWASAKI Robotics (UK) has acquired premises at Easter Court, Gemini, Warrington. The company will use the new premises to display and demonstrate their robotics products to UK customers.
WARRINGTON-based Zero Waste is launching its first operation site, in County Durham. The company has received £17m in venture capital from three companies, one of which is 3i, Europe's leading venture capital company, which has named Zero Waste as one of its top ten investments.
