Latchford Albion...14 Hindley...14
DESPITE having most of the play Albion had to settle for a draw against Hindley.
Both defences were on top until Mark Daniels scored in the corner and a touchline goal from Mellor made the half-time score 6-0 to Albion who pressurised well but took the wrong option at vital times.
Hindley then scored a penalty try but Albion hit back when the impressive Guest scored. Mellor goaled and also landed a penalty for a 14-8 lead.
An easy clearance over the try line turned into a try for Hindley and the goal tied the scores.
Albion gave first team debuts to Stuart and Hennesey who played well along with Guest and Warburton in the backs, while Green, Mellor and Dickinson worked hard in the forwards.
