ONLY two games were played in Premier Division- Halewood Labour who moved into third place after a 0-4 away win over lack-lustre Golden Wonder and Bridge Timber move into fifth place after a fine 7-0 home win over St Andrews, Jones led the way with four but it was his first that was the talk of the game.

Union Street move into top spot in the First Divisionafter a Highton family show, Jeff led the way with a hat-trick but it was brother Gary who impressed netting two and also awarded mom. Simms Cross move up five places into third spot after a hat-trick from Griffiths and one each for Metcalf, Turner, Dunning and Mike Frodsham with his first in three seasons to wrap up a 7-3 home win over Todd Dynamoes.
No change in the Second Division but leaders Roosters drop two points in a 1-1 draw away to Riverside. Shaw was on target for the home side, Taylor netting for the visitors. Top Lock Villa stay in second place despite going down 2-4 to Railway. Flaughtey and Plumpton scored for the home side but strikes from O'Neill (2), and one each for brothers Kevin and Alan Fleming took the points.
Trebla showed no mercy to the bottom club Clarendon Reserves as they notched up nine as they defeated them 9-1.
Lord Raglan stay in top spot in the Third Division despite being defeated 5-4 by FC Royal. The away side took the lead after 10 minutes only for brothers Willie (2) and Ste Edwards to strike back for the home side to lead again making it 3-4. Only for Brake and a stunner from Danson in the dying seconds, to wrap up the game 5-4 for the home side. Pablo had a hat-trick from Ericson in a 3-0 win over Majors. There was nothing to separate YKK and Kingsthorn as the game ended all square at 2-2.
Hennon and Kirwin scored for the home side and Simmy and Gloosey on target for the visitors.
The Wilsons had goals from Howarth and Hunter as they defeated Wolves 2-1. There were two Prelim Cup games played today.
In the Harry Tabb Trophy Halewood Labour Reserves scored only their second win this season as they defeated Boars Head 4-1.
In the Bob Orme Challenge First Division side Columbas Old Boys had to fight hard to overcome Third Division outfit Ball, the home side winning 5-1. Jones led the way with two and there was one each for Owen, Richardson and Doan.
