Mond Rangers 2
TWO goals in the opening five minutes due to defensive errors gave an uphill task to Mond on Saturday.
Mond did carry the game to Pavilions for the remainder of the first-half, Barlow's in-swinging corner was somehow kept out by Wright then the keeper diving to his right held on to a shot by Walsh.
Mond got themselves back into the game in the 34th minute when a ball by Walsh put Andy Gott through, the Mond striker finding the bottom corner from 15 yards.
A goal on half-time then another immediately on the restart sealed the game before Dwyer headed on Barlow's corner for Ian Walsh to head home in the 57th minute.
Three more strikes settled the game, the best goal of the game coming from ex-Mond player Eddie Droughton whose 25 yard rocket left Maddocks routed to the goal line.
