HAVING regard to the flood warning of the chief executive of the Environmental Agency in the Guardian of October 13, and of the statements by Meteorological experts of the likelihood of the increasing frequency of extreme weather conditions in the future, taken with the record of Castle Street subsidence, I am surprised that any developer should want to build houses in that area.
