WHY is it that old people shop on a Saturday?
While the majority of us have no choice but to shop on a Saturday, they have the whole week to complete their shopping, but insist on walking round the town centre at a snail's pace.
When they eventually get around to buying something they wait until after they are presented with the bill before they start their laborious ritual of digging out their coppers which are then counted out to the exact penny while the rest of us grow beards while we are waiting.
