SISTERS Jennie and Helen Briggs were dancing for joy last week after they were both picked to appear in panto this winter.
The two girls will take up their roles as babe dancers in this year's production of Aladdin at The Royal in Hanley starring Gladiator Warrior and The Grumbleweeds.
Panto is nothing new for Jennie, aged 12, who appeared in Dick Whittington at the Lyceum last year but for nine-year-old Helen it is a whole new experience.
In fact she only decided to follow in her sister's footsteps and take part in the auditions at the last minute.
Both girls dance under the direction of Susan Bethel at the Alsager School of Dancing and are very excited at taking part in the show with proud mum Jill planning to be in the front row.
