GRANADA Tonight will be featuring local producers taking part in the borough's second Farmers Market this weekend.
The TV programme makers will be filming over three days as local people select produce and prepare for the market, at Reaseheath College this Saturday.
And on market day itself traders, organisers and customers will be featured as the idea of the market is explained.
There will be a number of new traders and plenty of local food, grown within 30 miles of Nantwich, will be on sale ranging from bread and cheese to herbs and pumpkins.
The first market attracted more than 3,000 shoppers and it is predicted that this Saturday's could be the biggest to date.
There is now talk of moving the markets from the college to the town centre once the pilot schemes are completed.
Organisers, Crewe and Nantwich Sustainability Alliance, will be discussing the plan with council officials and traders after the event.
Councillor Geoff Philips, borough council spokesman on Local Agenda 21 said: "The first Farmers Market was a great success. Because it was so well supported by the people of Nantwich, we have producers queuing up for stalls.
"This means that we have been able to put together a market featuring a great variety of produce.
"We aim to keep the market as local as we can. As many of the traders as possible are actually drawn from within this borough."
A full programme of entertainment is being provided by local medieval troupe The Musicians of Clerkenwell.
There will also be free buses from Vernon Way in Crewe at half past the hour and from Nantwich Bus Station at 10 past the hour.
