Sefton 5

Eagle RUFC 0

EAGLE were unlucky to lose after Brown and Lloyd dominated all of the early exchanges and they could have taken the lead four or five times.

But after they suffered three injuries either side of half-time Sefton took advantage to win the game with Eagle finishing two men short.

Gettins, Taylor and Young were the best for Eagle.

The second team, boosted by the return of the experienced trio of Dodd, Gillicker and Unsworth and the excellent kicking of stand off Evans, ran out 12-0 winners against Toc H.

Eagle put together some excellent passing moves before the ball was dropped or passed forward with the line at their mercy.

Hanson, Howie, Bridge and McHale stood out for Eagle.
