BUTCHERS Arms had two fine 13-darters from Nigel Timmins and Terry O'Brien as they won their Greenall and Inn Partnership Friday Darts League match at Royal Oak Branch.
Dave Greenall, 16 and Dave Carey, 17, replied well for Branch but Butchers were always in command.
New Alliance had too much power against Smithys. Eddie Beddall hit 15 for Smithys but from 3-3 it was all New Alliance.
P. Monks hit a 14-darter for Greenwood but they were blitzed by Hawthorne's early order and did well to make a close issue of the scoreline.
Kipper Reynolds hit a 14-darter as Richmonds registered a good win at King and Queen but Red Lion romped in at home to Marquis with John Stevenson, 11, George Park, 13, John Graves and Ian Wrench, 14, were all a class apart from their opponnets.
Leo McDonnell struck a 12-darter for Rose Inn but to no avail as British Rail took the last two crucial legs for a close win.
On Monday night the highly-promising Penketh Sports Club took the points from under Smithys' noses as Roy Allen won the crucial last leg against John Haill and the Poplars won another close-run match at Royal Oak Branch.
The clash of the titans saw British Rail A edge home against New Alliance with Dave Wooldridge, 11 and Simon Moriarty, 14, tops for Rail and Tom Gallop's 14 was best for New Alliance, who had a 4-1 lead whittled away from under them.
Simon Cunningham hit 14 as Hawthorne beat newcomers Salvesen and Dog and Partridge, with 11 from Steve Hayes and 14 from Mick Henshaw, were too good for Prince of Wales despite Dave Rawsthorne's 15-darter.
Harry Brown's 12 darts for Gas A was the feature of their win at Red Lion and he was well supported by T. Yates with 15.
Tom Bullock hit a 14-darter in the last leg to gain a good win for King and Queen at home to Chapel House, whose P. Connelly 15 and Charlie Morris, 16, were the pick.
Gas Social B swamped Warrington Town with star throwing from Bill O'Niell, 12, Steve Lee, 15, Mick Addison, 16 and Dean Pindard, 17, much more than they needed on the night.
K. Reynolds Snr hit an 11 for Adelphi Vaults as they beat Penketh Legion and Brickmakers captain Dave Hickman, with a 10 darter against Richmonds, set a standard his mates could not uphold.
