IN an entertaining game Haydock proved too quick for Latchford.
The home side's never say die attitude eventually opened up Haydock's defence to cross for three tries scored by Daryl Cox, Louis James and Tom Price.

A SCORCHING Robert Bryant run to register his first try for Latchford sealed a hard-fought victory.
The final score did little justice to the contribution made by a determined and fast improving Burtonwood outfit.

AN entertaining and competitive game by two evenly matched teams resulted in some exciting end-to-end rugby with Woolston coming out winners after a slow start.
All round team play saw the Woolston points scored being spread throughout the team.

A VERY one-sided game saw some brilliant passing and support play from Latchford built on a good defensive display.
David Jones and Joe Gandy put Danny O'Brien in for the first try and continued pressure led to tries from Mike Linaker and Tony Alderman before Joe Gandy took the half-time lead to 22-0.
A second half hat-trick from Lee Mitchell and a score from Jack Price sealed the game before the home side pinched a try from close range.

AN outstanding effort in defence kept Chorley out until a lapse of concentration in the second half allowed them to score their only try.
Woolston kept to the game plan in this good team performance. Man of the match was Anthony Kelly and top tackler was Jacob Emmitt.

WOOLSTON threw this game away as poor handling repeatedly returned possession to the Leigh side.
Woolston were saved only by their scrambling defence which made the Leigh side fight hard for their win and their only try was scored by Simpson-Adkins.

RYLANDS were unlucky not to take something out of another gritty team display against a well-organised Crosfields team.
Second half tries from Mike Thomason, Jason Garrathy and Jon Walker put the Sharks into a well deserved 14-8 lead but an inspired substitution by Crosfields saw them home with the big strapping substitute L. Smith scoring three late tries.
Crosfields' other tries came from L. O'Brien, I. Brown and D. Rourke.
