Lymm 1
Hesketh Casuals 5
TOO many players injured, too many players playing poorly and a visiting team playing above themselves combined to embarrass Lymm on Saturday.
Two penalties and slack marking allowed the visitors to score as many goals in one afternoon against Lymm as had been managed all season so far.
Only when Dave Roberts moved upfield late on did lymm look like scoring and he won the penalty that Ian Ashton converted.
Team: Caldwell, Rhodes (Ritson), Hardiman, Roberts, Riddell, Cowperthwaite, Stussi, Ashton, Easby, McGilligan Vescovi.
Other result: Burnley GSOB Res 2 Lymm res 4 (Edgar 2, Grasby, Murphy).
