ALBION played their best game of the season against a team from a division higher in the Lancashire Cup
Matt Flower, recalled to the pack, raced in from 30 metres to score. Sean Mellor goaled.
Winger Daintith was next to cross after good work from the outstanding Temple.Again Mellor goaled but just before half-time Oldham scored to make the half-time score 12-4.
Smith went over with Mellor adding his third goal. Winger Warburton then scored his first of three tries, racing 80m after Taylor had gathered a loose ball and sent him away.
Oldham then scored a converted try before Warburton ran in two long-range efforts to complete a superb hat-trick. Mellor goaled one.
