A NEW solar potting shed will be helping patients soothe away their problems at Leighton Hospital
The shed has been put up in the hospital's special therapy garden - thanks to generous donations.
Members of the Mid and South Cheshire Masonic Lodges, Leighton Hospital League of Friends, the Stroke Association Family Support Group and Sandbach Lions have helped to raise over £1,000 to buy the shed.
Volunteers, including therapy services staff and members of Middlewich Round Table, have laid paving, put up trellis and built raised flower beds, which together with the solar shed, have transformed an area of gravel into a pleasant place to work - and relax.
The garden, which is next to Leighton Hospital's Stroke Unit, was opened two years ago following the completion of a project by Prince's Trust Volunteers.
