BOSLEY Reservoir near Congleton has won top prize in a national competition run by British Waterways.
The awards scheme aims to promote and encourage interest in conserving the heritage and environment of the nation's waterways for the enjoyment of future generations.
Work at the reservoir has included the laying of 700 metres of hedgerow, installing 1,000 metres of fencing, clearing vegetation, and promoting aquatic plants.
The reservoir picked up the top award in the National Environment category.
