NANTWICH Town's cup exploits continue to deliver some great encounters as they were involved in another thriller on Saturday, drawing 2-2 with Mere KA.
Visiting Mere got off to a flyer when Kevin Moran opened their account with a fourth minute goal.
Nantwich attacked in the second half, trying to break a side who seemed happy to sit back on their lead.
The Dabbers' efforts paid off in injury time as Andy Gayle put the ball into the back of the net to take the tie into extra time.
Substitute Mike Gannon looked to have won it for Nantwich as he stabbed home a goalmouth scramble in the second period but Wiltshire replied in injury time to earn Mere a replay, due to be held yesterday, Wednesday.
The Dabbers were held to a 2-2 draw with Kidsgrove Athletic after they had been cruising at Jackson Avenue on Thursday night.
Matt Borthwick converted a penalty after 15 minutes to put Nantwich in front and Danny Griggs increased their lead with a strike just before the half hour.
They looked to be well in control but after the interval Batho turned the game with a goal on 47 minutes and a leveller after 66 minutes.
Nantwich remain fifth from bottom but have plenty of games in hand.
The Dabbers face Salford City in league action at Jackson Avenue on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
