IN reply to the letter from Mr Watt regarding the old shoppers:
Watt this man needs is to be told
There is no shame in growing old
Watt a difference this man will find
If while out to the old he is kind
Watt he wants when rushing about
Are no old people their minds in doubt?
Watt he needs is a centre so bare
He can shop without a care
Watt a joke this fellow seems to be
To the old who are not a busy bee
Watt to do when he dashes around
Out of his way the old must bound
Watt all the old plus a few
Will do to him while in a queue
Watt he'll do when held up all day
His words will be unprintable I'll say
Watt to do next time you are popping
Down the town to do your shopping
Watt you need is to take your time
And not take it out on people in their prime
Watt the express check-outs mean to us
We can have more time to stroll to the bus
Watt we don't need is a person to yell
While dashing around like a bat out of hell
Yours slowly, an older generation person.
