WHAT a pity Mr Watt has nothing better to do with his life than pick on pensioners.
What a sad attitude to want to put yourself before someone who probably suffers with bad eyesight, rheumatism and all the numerous infirmities that unfortunately come with old age.
I'm ashamed to live in the same area as such a narrow-minded man as Mr Watt and I hope and pray that when he gets older and slower, he gets better thought of - or maybe he'll be writing to the local paper to complain.
I have never read such a selfish and uncaring letter in my life.
Maybe Mr Watt would like the week planned for all shoppers - perhaps Monday, pensioners; Tuesday, disabled; Wednesday, babies in pushchairs etc; Thursday, walking sticks and wheelchairs; Friday, blind people; Saturday, Mr Watt.
All you pensioners out there, I'm proud to be in town with you all - any day of the week.
We, as a community, value you and respect you. God bless each and every one of you.
