I WAS offended by Mr Watt's letter printed in the Guardian, headlined Shopping Moan. It seems obvious that the writer is a person without any principles, patience or respect for the elderly.
Senior citizens have every right to shop as and when they wish, and at whatever speed they are able. Perhaps Saturday is the only day some of the elderly can be chauffered into town by friends and relatives and people who care.
