AFTER reading Mr Everitt's response to Mrs Laws' letter, I would like to draw his attention to the Highway Code, page 35, section 147.
When approaching road works "use your mirrors and get into the correct lane in good time. Do not switch lanes to overtake queueing traffic."
I also drive 1,000 miles a week and get fed up with people like Mr Everitt, who leave it to the last minute to pull over into the correct lane, causing a domino effect on the traffic behind as everybody brakes.
Mr Everitt accuses Mrs Laws of ignorance - I think she deserves an apology from the ignorant Mr Everitt.
