TATTON weren't disgraced in this fiercely competitive game against a good first division side.
They started sluggishly and were made to pay as Hartford scored after five minutes.
Despite the setback Tatton coped well with an agile Hartford front line, but never looked totally comfortable.
Their best chances came when they played the ball out wide, but they only troubled the Hartford keeper on a few occasions.
With the start of the second half Tatton's concentration and confidence dipped and within 10 minutes Hartford had scored three goals.
But they fought back well forcing their opponents into their own half for the final 10 minutes.
Their efforts paid off with a penalty in the dying minutes.
Man of the match, Ben Antoniak, stepped up and buried the ball in the corner for a consolation goal.
