HOLMES Chapel's second team continued their unbeaten run to the season with another comfortable victory on Saturday.
The scoring hero was Oliver Scopes who stole two goals in his usual predatory fashion.
Architect of the strikes was Dave Laxton who seems to improve with every passing year of his hockey career.
Paul Quartermaine opened his league goal-scoring account with a well-taken goal.
THE 3rd need to turn their dip in form around as they crumbled to a 4-2 defeat against a Bowden side.
The only bright spot was another fine goal from Egerton, enjoying his second spell at Holmes Chapel.
THE 4th endured a victorious game against Prescot, running out 2-1 winners.
Ian Anderson made an impressive debut with Ashley Austen and Phil Adams providing the Holmes Chapel goals.
Anyone interested in joining Holmes Chapel Hockey Club should come along to training at Middlewich Leisure Centre at either 7.30pm-8.30pm on Tuesdays or 6.30pm-7.30pm on Fridays.
